Understanding and Support

Information overload can be just as stressful as not having answers at all.

Our resources are here to help you make sense of what you’re noticing, without judgement, labels, or pressure to “fix” anything.

Common Questions

The Latently App is a tool that helps surface subtle, real-time nervous system patterns related to regulation, stress, and readiness—things that are often hard to see in the moment.

It offers another way to understand what your child’s nervous system may be communicating, helping you make sense of patterns you’re already noticing at home within seconds, in real time.

No. The Latently App is designed to support parents and occupational therapists—not replace professional judgment, therapy, or clinical care.

No. The Latently App is not a diagnostic tool and does not diagnose autism, conditions, or disorders of any kind.

No. The Latently App is not about behavior control, compliance, or masking. It’s about insight, context, and support.

Our tools are designed to support what’s already in place, not replace it. They offer additional insight that parents, therapists, and educators can use alongside occupational therapy, classroom strategies, and everyday home routines.

The Latently App was created by Dr. Elizabeth Torres and Christopher Dudick, combining neuroscience research with real-world experience building tools for families and educators.

Dr. Torres is a computational neuroscientist at Rutgers University with more than 20 years of experience studying sensory-motor patterns in autistic individuals. Her work focuses on understanding how the nervous system communicates through movement and sensation.

Christopher Dudick is an award-winning educator and entrepreneur who has spent decades creating child-centered educational and social-emotional tools used in schools and homes.

Together, they founded Neuroinversa to turn rigorous science into practical, respectful tools that help families better understand neurodivergent nervous systems.
